Angry Birds for PC Gameplay

Although the game has recently been converted to PC, the basic gameplay of the mobile and touchscreen version has remained much the same. Players take control of a flock of different bird types, which are attempting to retrieve their eggs, which have been by a group of evil green pigs. They are usually sheltered by structures made of different materials such as ice, wood, stone or concrete. The main objective – eliminate all pigs on the level. For this the players have their slingshot at their disposal, as well as various birds for projectiles. Players must either directly hit the pigs or damage their structures, which when unbalanced, hit and damaged often have the tendency to collapse and kill all the pigs underneath it. In different levels of the game additional objects, such as rocks or explosive crates, and can be used for the player’s advantage to destroy hard or out of reach targets.
There are seven types of birds to be used by the player.
As he advanced through the game stages and levels more bird types become available, each with their own unique special ability, for example – a blue bird can separate into three birds, a white bird can drop an egg bomb and a yellow bird can perform speed boosts to break through obstacles. However, each bird is, as if specialized and more effective against particular materials.
On the other hand the pigs themselves also appear in different sizes, as larger ones are able to sustain more damage. Some are even sometimes protected by helmets or hats from falling debris, which greatly add to their damage resistance.
A direct hit by a bird however may render this protection useless; therefore many factors should be taken into account when playing.
Each level starts with the numbers, types, and order of birds pre-determined. If all pigs are defeated before the last bird is used, the level is completed and the next one is unlocked. Each ,,popped’’ pig gives 5000 points to the player, additional points are scored for structure damage as well. Bonus points are awarded for any unused birds. Upon completing each level players receive one, two, or three stars, depending on the final point summary. Players always have the ability to retry unlocked levels as many times as they wish in order to successfully complete them to earn additional points or stars.
